F.I.T. Presents Style Market

 

F.I.T. & the Design Mavens join fabulous forces again to bring you Style Market (formerly: Creative Enterprise Designers Shopping Showcase) on Friday, April 28 from 6-9pm and Saturday, April 29, from 12-6 pm in the John E. Reeves Great Hall @ F.I.T., Seventh Avenue & 28 Street, NYC.

 

Time Out NY dubbed the last event a “fashioncentric bazaar” and NBC's Weekend Today said “It’s not to be missed!” Admission is free & gift bags will be given to the first 200 customers. Everyone should bring cash or check to pay for their fabulous finds. There's an Informal Fashion Preview w/live music on Friday night, and a full-blown Runway Fashion Show at 3pm on Saturday.

 

Available for purchase will be distinctive one-of-a-kind and limited edition women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel, accessories, and jewelry, along with fine and decorative art. This spring’s line-up includes 22 designers (CEO Alumni and F.I.T. graduates) chosen by a panel of fashion industry judges: Glam 606 whose earrings Beyonce's worn, ekeko, Dish Designs, Kendra Studio Jewelry who bejewels Ethan Hawk & debuted Fashion Week Sept 2005, Phyl Casual Couture as featured in Daily Candy, Liz Shaw Designs, Silbo Designs, Sweet As Pie Cards, L Line, Chloe's Crowns, Jessica Banda, Zoe Lou, Beuloni seen in WWD, mikeSK Indie Revolution, Bebepanda, Shah Shai New York, Talulah NYC, Lawrence Levens Millinery, Tommy & Fern Inc, Leon Gurevich featured in Playboy, Attica Designs, & devon.

 

Creative Enterprise Ownership (CEO) is part of the Fashion Institute of Technology’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and offers a series of 22 courses covering all aspects of launching and operating a successful small business. The organizing group, Design Mavens, joined forces in 2003 because of their passion for innovative design and their desire to share this passion with the world, working in collaboration with F.I.T., New York City retailers like Barneys & Caravan NYC, and individual trunk shows.
